NCEH has gained recognition by the Ophthalmic Nursing training school Korlebu Accra Ghana, as a centre of excellence in the training of eye care professionals ie. Ophthalmic Nurses.
The first beneficiary of this partnership was Mr Sulpice Bongnia Nuokyere who upon completion of his training at the school, had his four months post qualification internship at NCEH from January 2022 to April 2022 and has since been integrated into the eye care system and also continues to join us in our outreach programs.
He has since been stationed at Yeji in the Mathias Catholic Hospital.
